I completely forgot that de Niro was on this movie

I just loved this movie, it starts pretty slow and continues slows, but the build up and end is just great.
This movie shows the best part of being a teacher.
When I decided to decline on the DCA, I talked about that after a master thesis presentation with some of my professors, they convinced that giving my background on CS, DS and IT, I should just redirect my work to the DTI; at that moment I was introduced to the coordinator of that academic program and my application started.
I’m waiting to see if I got in or not.
This is not so much for tech companies but it is quite interesting
Following with yesterday post, this is another one you should start taking if you are going to job hunt

A challenge by hackerrank, I highly recommend this to bachelors student once they are about to start job hunting…or my grad students to come back to the grind.

Last time I spoke with my grampa, my mother called me when I was driving from home to the university, I was trapped in a traffic jam in a roundabout, my mother told me that my grampa loved me very much and that he blessed me; at that time my grampa couldn’t speak because he had a lot of things on him.
The last time I really spoke with him was some weeks before that, he was lucid, smart and wise as ever at his 80+ years old.
I don’t remember why but he ended up teaching me about Cartago, the rise and fall and why sometimes people says that they are going to “Cartago” something.
At the time I had 2 bachelors degree, 1 MBA, several certifications, teacher at couple of masters and he was still teaching me something related to something I just said.
Congrats papa, we may not be on the same plane/dimension anymore but I still remember you and love you.
Last interview I had, I was dismissed by being an astronaut, by a person who believes to be an astronomer but in reality seems to me is just an astrologist.
Astronaut is the person who walks in the stars, this is a real professional, very hard to accomplish, physically and mentally
Astronomer is the person who studies the stars, real profession that takes years to accomplish
Astrologist is a person who believes stars influence our lives and mood, this person is a phoney.
